The Club

The club traces its origins to 1989, when young people aged around 9 began playing table tennis at school under the guidance of Professor Joaquim Azevedo, who is still the club’s president. It was officially founded on 2 September 1993 and legally registered on 12 September 1994.

The club gained national prominence through its team results and player development, which have produced several international titles.

Today, the club invests in player development and prepares for the future without neglecting the present, with teams in every men’s senior national division.

It has around 50 male and female athletes across all age groups, with ambitions to reach the national and international podium.
